British Ales Beer Dinner Pairing August 19th
Join us for a beer tasting and enjoy an amazing evening of delicious home cooked food which will be paired and served with a selection of ales from the British Isles.
Welcoming Drink - Scottish Mule with Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer
McEwan Scottish Ale - Paired with the Ultimate Scotch Egg,
Black Pudding and pork wrapped around a hard boiled egg and encrusted with breadcrumbs and then deep fried and accompanied with McEwan’s mustard.
Belhaven India Pale ale (IPA) - Paired with a Chicken Tikka Masala Pasty,
Succulent marinated chunks of chicken in a creamy masala sauce with rice inside a pastry envelope and topped with creamy masala sauce.
Bombardier English Special Bitter (ESB) - Paired with Bubble & Squeak & Toad in the Hole,
An array of vegetables make up this traditional British dish along with British “Bangers” in Yorkshire pudding Batter and served with onion and ale gravy.
Well’s Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale - Paired with Sticky Toffee Pudding,
Home made Sticky toffee pudding served warm with dulce de leche ice cream and warm Carmel sauce.
